Colbún (BCS:COLBUN), a Chile-based power producer and distributor, may be studying acquiring assets from energy companies in Peru, such as Termochilca and Odebrecht Energía del Perú, as well as Colombian and Chilean assets of US-based Duke Energy (NYSE:DUK), reported Portal Minero on 14 July 2016. According to the report, Colbún may be studying different options to grow in the power market through acquisitions, mainly in Peru and Chile. It also does not rule out scouring the Colombian market. Officially, the Chile-based company has ruled out making any type of comment with regards to this information.

Colbún (BCS:COLBUN), productora y distribuidora chilena de energía eléctrica, estaría estudiando adquirir activos de empresas de energía en Perú, como Termochilca y Odebrecht Energía del Perú, así como activos colombianos y chilenos de la estadounidense Duke Energy (NYSE:DUK), según ha informado Portal Minero el 14 de julio de 2016. En concreto, Colbún estaría estudiando distintas opciones para crecer en el negocio eléctrico mediante compras, principalmente en Perú y Chile, e incluso no descarta estudiar el mercado colombiano. Por su parte, la compañía eléctrica chilena de manera oficial ha descartado emitir algún tipo de comentario al respecto. |
