Chinese companies could be interested in the acquisition of Novo Banco, as published by newspaper Económico on 10 May 2016, citing the president of ShanShan Group, Zheng Yonggang. Zheng Yonggang, who is in Lisbon on behalf of the Shanghai New Entrepreneurs Association, said today he was confident that Novo Banco will be acquired by a Chinese investor and that he will inform Prime Minister António Costa about its members' interest in the tender for Novo Banco, which will run until August 2016 (see related intel). "Our plan is to show our interest in Novo Banco", said Zheng Yonggang.

Várias empresas chinesas estariam de olho na aquisição do Novo Banco, segundo publicou o Económico no dia 10 de maio de 2016, citando o Presidente do ShanShan Group, Zheng Yonggang. O Executivo Zheng Yonggang, que está em Lisboa em representação da Associação de Novos Empreendedores de Xangai, afirmou hoje estar confiante que o Novo Banco vai ser comprado por um investidor chinês e confessou que vai manifestar junto do primeiro-ministro António Costa o interesse dos seus associados no concurso do Novo Banco, que decorre até agosto de 2016 (ver Intel relacionado).
