China and Japan-based companies ready arrival in Nuevo León

The department of economic development (Sedec) of Nuevo León is carrying out a trade mission in China and Japan to attract USD 600m of direct foreign investment and finalize the arrival of China and Japan-based companies in the Mexican state, reported El Financiero on 7 March, 2016, citing deputy secretary of investment and industrial development, Samuel Peña. Peña noted talks are being finalized with China and Japan-based companies that will launch operations in Nuevo León. Even though the identity of the companies was not disclosed, the official said they are suppliers for the auto industry, four from Japan and three from China. However, it became known the Japan-based companies may be Toyota, Denso, Takata (TSE:7312), and Bridgestone (TSE:5108). In China, the trade mission will meet with 50 companies, added Peña.

La Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico (Sedec) de Nuevo León realiza una misión comercial en China y Japón para atraer USD 600m de inversión directa extranjera y ultimar la llegada de empresas chinas y japonesas al estado mexicano, ha publicado El Financiero el 7 de marzo de 2016, citando al Subsecretario de Inversión y Fomento Industrial, Samuel Peña. Peña ha señalado que se ha avanzado en conversaciones con empresas chinas y japonesas que comenzarán a operar en Nuevo León. Aunque no ha divulgado la identidad de las empresas, el funcionario ha dicho que son proveedores para el sector automotriz y serían cuatro de Japón y tres de China. No obstante, ha trascendido que las empresas japonesas serían Toyota, Denso, Takata (TSE:7312) y Bridgestone (TSE:5108). En China, la misión comercial se reunirá con 50 empresas, ha añadido Peña. |
