La empresa argelina Cevital ha mostrado su interés por adquirir nuevas unidades productivas y plantas de fabricación de la española Fagor Electrodomésticos, en concurso de acreedores. Entre ellas, la compañía estaría dispuesta a presentar ofertas por la división de cocción, que comprende las factorías de Garagartza y Eskoriatza, en el País Vasco.

La compañía ya ha adquirido la filial francesa de Fagor Electrodomésticos, Fagor Brandt, así como varias marcas vinculadas a la española.
