CDTI, under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is preparing rules for a call for proposals to select private equity firm. The objective is to channel EUR 100m aiming to invest in innovative companies. It is estimated that early next week the conditions to participate will be disclosed, according to market sources. CDTI's initiative is a replica of the one used by the fund of funds, which was launched in 2013, by Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), the so-called Fond-ICO Global.

El CDTI, dependiente del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, está preparando las bases de la convocatoria que guiarán el proceso de selección de una gestora de private equity a través de la que canalizar EUR 100m con el objetivo de invertir en empresas con un enfoque innovador. Se prevé que a principios de la próxima semana se darán a conocer las condiciones a cumplir por las entidades candidatas a liderar este proyecto, según fuentes del mercado. La iniciativa del CDTI reproduce el esquema seguido por el fondo de fondos lanzado en 2013 por el Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), el denominado Fond-ICO Global. |
