CAF, CIMIC, and other foreign companies win railway tender in Canberra

CAF (BME: CAF), based in Spain, won a tender, along with Australia-based CIMIC, an ACS (BME:ACS) subsidiary, Japan-based Mitsubishi Corporation (TSE:8058) and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Australia-based John Holland, UK-based Aberdeen Infrastructure, and Germany-based Deutsche Bahn, to build, supply, and maintain Canberra's new light train line, announced CAF on 1 February, 2016. The consortium won the tender with a EUR-454m bid for a 20-year period. CAF will be in charge of the supply and maintenance of the trams and CIMIC, of sponsorship, design, construction, operation, and maintenance.

CAF (BME: CAF), empresa española, ha resultado adjudicataria, junto a la australiana CIMIC, del grupo ACS (BME: ACS), las japonesas Mitsubishi Corporation (TSE: 8058) y Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, la australiana John Holland, la británica Aberdeen Infrastructure y la alemana Deutsche Bahn, de la construcción, suministro y mantenimiento de la nueva linea del tren ligero de Canberra, según ha reportado CAF el 1 de febrero de 2016. El consorcio se ha adjudicado la licitación durante 20 años gracias a la oferta de EUR 454m. CAF se encargará del suministro y mantenimiento de los tranvias y CIMIC del patrocinio, diseño, construcción, operación y mantenimiento. |
