Brussels Airlines, a Belgium-based airline, could launch its operations in Peru, reported RPP on 28 December 2016, citing sources familiar with OCEX Brussels. Specifically, representatives of Brussels Airlines may have spoken with directors of LATAM Airlines Group (BCS:LATM11), a Chile-based airline, and Avianca Holding (BVC:AVT; NYSE:AVH), a Panama-based holding of airlines Avianca and Taca, to reach this aim in the medium term. According to the report, the airline may be interested in establishing a direct service between Peru and Belgium and that is why it may be seeking to meet in Peru with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) in February 2017.

Brussels Airlines, aerolínea con sede en Bélgica, podría desembarcar en Perú, según ha informado RPP el 28 de diciembre de 2016, citando fuentes cercanas a OCEX Bruselas. En concreto, representantes de Brussels Airlines habrían conversaron con directivos de LATAM Airlines Group (BCS:LATM11), aerolínea con sede en Chile, y Avianca Holding (BVC:AVT; NYSE:AVH), holding panameño de las aerolíneas Avianca y Taca, para poder lograr este objetivo en el mediano plazo. La compañía estaría interesada en instaurar un servicio de vuelo directo entre Perú y Bélgica y es por esta razón que estaría interesada en reunirse en Perú, en febrero del 2017, con el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Mincetur) y del Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC). |
