El gobierno del distrito de Bogotá ha anunciado que comprará predios para la construcción de la primera línea de metro, que tendría una longitud de 27 kilómetros, según ha comunicado el alcalde de la capital colombiana, Gustavo Petro. La inversión de esta compra de activos podría alcanzar los USD 6,2m.

Según los diseños revelados por el gobierno, la primera línea del metro contará con 28 estaciones proyectadas como intermodales.
