Bloomin’ Brands, a Tampa, Florida-based restaurant chain operator, seeks to continue its expansion in South America, for which its has retained a global real estate firm to find growth opportunities in the region, reported Tampa Bay Times on 25 August 2016, citing Bloomin’ Brands Spokeswoman Catherine Koch. Specifically, Koch noted the company will focus on the metropolitan areas of Chile, where it already operates with Outback Steakhouse, and Argentina, a new market for Bloomin' Brands. In the region, Bloomin' also operates in Brazil with the Abbraccio brand.
