Bbooster Ventures, a Spain-based startup accelerator that drives Internet-based business ideas or mobile applications, is entering the US market after partnering with local group Draper Venture Network, one of Silicon Valley's major funds, reported Expansión on 21 February 2017, citing Bbooster CEO Enrique Penichet.

With the agreement, Bbooster will be part of a global network of venture capital entities that will give its startups access to high-quality networking for both business development and funding.

Draper Venture Network invested more than EUR 1.5bn in 2016 and was one of the first investors in large technology companies like Hotmail or Skype.

Bbooster Ventures, aceleradora de startups española que impulsa ideas de negocios basadas en Internet o aplicaciones móviles, entra el mercado estadounidense tras asociarse con el grupo local Draper Venture Network, uno de los principales fondos de Silicon Valley, según ha informado Expansión el 21 de febrero de 2017, citando al CEO de la firma, Enrique Penichet.

Con este acuerdo, Bbooster formará parte de una red global de entidades de venture capital que permitirá a las startups de la aceleradora el acceso a un networking de alta calidad, tanto para el desarrollo de negocio como para la búsqueda de financiación.

Draper Venture Network invirtió más de EUR 1.506m en 2016 y fue uno de los primeros inversores en grandes empresas tecnológicas como Hotmail o Skype.
