Banco de Portugal (BdP), a financial institution, has chosen the US-based company Lone Star to negotiate the sale of Novo Banco, BdP reported in a statement on 4 January 2016. The bank concluded that the potential investor Lone Star is the best entity to complete the negotiation process for the acquisition of Novo Banco. The negotiation with Lone Star does not exclude the other bids investors. Novo Banco was also being disputed by Apollo/Centerbridg and China Minsheng (see related Intels).

O Banco de Portugal (BdP), instituição financeira portuguesa, escolheu a norte-americana Lone Star para negociar a venda do Novo Banco, segundo publicou o Banco de Portugal em comunicado no dia 04 de janeiro de 2016. O Banco de Portugal concluiu que o potencial investidor Lone Star é a entidade mais bem colocada para finalizar o processo negocial tendente à aquisição das ações do Novo Banco e decidiu convidá-lo para um aprofundamento das negociações. As negociações com o potencial investidor Lone Star não exclui a melhoria das propostas dos restantes potenciais investidores. O Novo Banco também estava sendo disputado pelo consórcio Apollo/Centerbridg e pela China Minsheng (ver Intels relacionados). |
