Banco BTG Pactual (BVMF:BPAC3), a Brazil-based financial entity, is said to be in talks with three international financial entities to sell wholly-owned subsidiary BSI Bank, reported Reuters Latin America on 4 December, 2015. The decision to sell the Switzerland-based bank is part of BTG's plan to divest assets and reduce debt, the report stated. Only in September 2015, BTG Pactual closed the takeover of BSI Bank from Italy-based insurance company Assicurazioni Generali for CHF 1.25bn (see related transaction).

Banco BTG Pactual (BVMF:BPAC3), entidad financiera brasileña, estaría negociando la venta de su filial BSI Bank con tres entidades financieras internacionales, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 4 de diciembre de 2015, citando una fuente con conocimiento de la cuestión. La decisión de vender el banco suizo forma parte del plan de BTG de desprenderse de activos y reducir deuda, según lo publicado. Apenas en septiembre de 2015, BTG Pactual concluyó la toma de control de BSI Bank a la aseguradora italiana Assicurazioni Generali por CHF 1.250m (ver transacción relacionada).
