BNDES, Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social based in Rio de Janeiro, will create a financing line to structure projects, with a BRL 200m budget, as published by newspaper Valor Econômico on 28 March 2016, citing its president, Luciano Coutinho.

According to the news, the vehicle will be named BNDES Estruturação de Projetos. It can be used by federal entities, mainly Municipalities, to unleash investments in sectors such as infrastructure and logistics, in projects that involve the private sector, either through grant or public-private partnership (PPP). The loan will be obtained, as non-repayable, by consultants or consulting groups of independent consultants, who do not participate in the execution phase. The goal is that the winners of the second stage will reimburse resources to BNDES fund.

O BNDES, Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social que tem sede no Rio de Janeiro, vai criar uma linha de financiamento de estruturação de projetos, que terá orçamento inicial de BRL 200m, segundo publicou o Valor Econômico em 28 de março de 2016, citando ao Presidente do BNDES, Luciano Coutinho.

Segundo a notícia, o instrumento, chamado BNDES Estruturação de Projetos, poderá ser utilizado por entes federativos, especialmente Estados e municípios, para deslanchar investimentos em áreas como infraestrutura e logística, em projetos que envolvam necessariamente a iniciativa privada, seja por concessão ou por parceria-público privada (PPP). O crédito será obtido, a fundo perdido, por consultores ou grupo de consultores necessariamente independentes, que não participem da fase de execução. O objetivo é que os vencedores desta segunda etapa façam o ressarcimento dos recursos para o fundo do BNDES.
