BBVA (BME:BBVA), a Spain-based financial institution, announced its interest in making future acquisitions in Mexico, reported Millenio on 3 March 2017, citing BBVA President Francisco González. Specifically, González noted the company will invest USD 1.5bn in the next five years in the country and, as part of this project, it would also aim to acquire a bank, provided it receives the approval of Mexico's Ministry of Finance.

BBVA (BME: BBVA), entidad financiera con sede en España, ha anunciado que mantiene su interés en realizar futuras adquisiciones en México, según ha informado Milenio el 3 de marzo de 2017, citando al presidente de BBVA, Francisco González. En concreto, González ha manifestado que la compañía realizará una inversión de USD 1.500m en los próximos cinco años en el país y, en este proyecto, los intereses también apuntarían a la adquisición de un banco, siempre y cuando se tuviera un visto bueno del Ministerio de Hacienda de México. |
