Arab Emirates and Colombia sign economic cooperation agreements

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Chancellor of Colombia, Maria Angela Holguin, signed eight agreements for economic cooperation, as reported by newspaper El Espectador on 9 February 2016. These cooperation agreements between the two countries will entail the infrastructure, tourism, trade and investment, renewable energy and culture sectors as well as Arab Emirates' support the country's peace process. In addition, the agreements will include exchange of tax information, mutual investment protection and cooperation in business and tourism issues.

El Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan y la canciller de Colombia, María Ángela Holguín, han suscrito ocho acuerdos de cooperación económica, según ha informado El Espectador el 9 de febrero de 2016. Los acuerdos de cooperación entre los dos países han sido firmados en los sectores de infraestructura, turismo, comercio e inversión, energías renovables y cultura, así como el apoyo de Emiratos Árabes en el proceso de paz del país Latinoamericano. Así mismo, se han establecido acuerdos sobre el intercambio de información tributaria, la protección recíproca de inversiones y la cooperación en temas empresariales y de turismo. |
