Apache, an Argentina-based agricultural machinery manufacturer, will begin marketing its machinery in China through a joint venture with China-based Shandong Changlin Machinery Group, created in 2015, reported El Cronista on 10 August 2016, citing Apache President Carlos Castellani. Specifically, the joint venture, called Shandong Changlin Apache, is engaged in the manufacturing of sowing machines adapted to the Chinese market. Castellani noted Apache provided its know-how and Shandong Changlin Machinery Group, the necessary capital, estimated at around USD 1m.
