América Móvil holds a 60% stake in Telekom Austria, and is currently considering subscribing a capital increase to be carried out by the Austrian telecommunications company, aiming to expand. This deal will take place if Telekom Austria expanded through acquisitions. In addition, in November 2014, Telekom Austria carried out a EUR 1.00bn capital increase, which was subscribed by América Móvil. This transaction was carried out to reduce debt and invest in infrastructure. (see related transaction)

La compañía América Móvil, que posee el 60% de las acciones de Telekom Austria, baraja la opción de suscribir un aumento de capital en la austriaca con el objetivo de crear oportunidades de expansión. Este aumento de capital podría tener lugar si Telekom Austria creciera a través de adquisiciones. Además, en noviembre del 2014 Telekom Austria realizó un aumento de capital con un valor de EUR 1.000m que fue respaldado por América Móvil y que se llevó a cabo con el fin de reducir deudas e invertir en infraestructura.
