América Móvil (BMV:AMX), a Mexico City-based mobile telephony operator, must postpone the divestment of its telecoms towers until September, given it hasn't received authorization from Mexico's federal telecoms institute (IFT), reported El Financiero on 14 July, 2015, citing IFT's president commissioner, Gabriel Contreras. Contreras explained that to grant authorization a plenary session is necessary and there isn't one scheduled until August or September. In April, América Móvil announced its plan to divest the towers to create Telesites, a new infrastructure rental company (see related intel).

América Móvil (BMV:AMX), operador de telefonía móvil con sede en México D.F., deberá posponer la escisión de sus torres de telecomunicaciones hasta septiembre, dado que no ha recibido la autorización del Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT), ha publicado El Financiero el 14 de julio de 2015, citando al comisionado presidente del IFT, Gabriel Contreras. Contreras explicó que para la autorización es necesaria una sesión de pleno, que no está prevista hasta agosto o septiembre. En abril, América Móvil anunció su plan para escindir las torres para formar Telesites, una nueva empresa de alquiler de infraestructura (ver intel relacionados). |
