Carlos Slim, América Móvil's major shareholder, announced that in addition to considering the sale of company assets in the east and west coast of Mexico, they are analyzing possibly selling more important assets. So far, América Móvil's sale intention has not been disclosed, but it would be in alignment with its divestment strategy, which is part of the new telecommunications regulation in Mexico that forces the company to reduce its weight in the domestic market.

El empresario mexicano Carlos Slim, accionista mayoritario de América Móvil, ha anunciado que además de estudiar la venta de los activos de la compañía que están en la costa este y oeste mexicana también analiza vender activos de mayor importancia dentro de la entidad. Hasta la fecha se desconoce la intención de venta que estudia América Móvil, pero seguiría estando en la línea de desinversiones que se enmarca dentro de la nueva regulación de las telecomunicaciones en México y que obliga a la compañía reducir su peso en el negocio nacional. |
