US-based multinational company Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) opened a new European software development center, in Madrid, to support and develop Amazon Business, its new e-commerce platform between companies, as announced by the company through a press release published on 15 June 2015. Madrid is the only city outside the United States that has a team for Amazon Business. Opening this technology center will involve hiring in excess of 30 senior and highly qualified professionals. Now, Amazon Business will operate three global technical centers, located in Seattle (Washington), Austin (Texas) and Madrid.

La multinacional norteamericana Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) abrirá en Madrid un nuevo centro europeo de desarrollo de software para dar soporte y desarrollar Amazon Business, su nueva plataforma de comercio electrónico entre empresas, según ha comunicado la compañía en una nota de prensa del 15 de junio de 2015. Madrid es la única ciudad fuera de Estados Unidos que cuenta con un equipo dedicado a Amazon Business. La apertura del centro tecnológico implicará la contratación de más de 30 profesionales sénior y altamente cualificados. A partir de ahora, Amazon Business se desarrollará desde tres centros tecnológicos globales situados en Seattle (Washington), Austin (Texas) y Madrid. |
