Alsea (BMV:ALSEA), a Mexico City-based food franchise operator, is open to studying merger and acquisition opportunities to continue its growth strategy, reported El Financiero on 24 September, 2015, citing managing director, Federico Tejado. Tejado also noted Alsea does not rule out entering other markets with restaurants Vips and Portón, though he said for now the focus is on brand integration.
