Alitalia, a Rome, Italy-based airline, announced the launch of operations in Mexico, reported El Economista on 16 June, 2016, citing the president of Alitalia, Cramer Ball. Specifically, the airline will fly three times a week from the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM) to Rome and estimates it will transport around 1,600 passengers. Alitalia currently has 97 destinations, including five in Latin America: Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and, now, Mexico City.

Alitalia, aerolínea italiana con sede en Roma, ha anunciado el inicio de operaciones en México, según ha informado El Economista el 16 de junio de 2016, citando al presidente de Alitalia, Cramer Ball. En concreto, la firma europea volará tres veces por semana desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (AICM) hacia Roma y estima transportar alrededor de 1.600 pasajeros. La aerolínea italiana tiene actualmente 97 destinos, que en América Latina suman Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Río de Janeiro y ahora, Ciudad de México. |
