Acrecent Financial, empresa portorriqueña dedicada al sector financiero, está estudiando aumentar su presencia en otros países de Centroamérica, principalmente en República Dominicana y Panamá, y entre otras opciones está analizando la adquisición de carteras de otras entidades. Adicionalmente, también podría introducirse en el mercado mexicano y colombiano. En enero de 2014, Acrecent Financial realizó una ampliación de capital que permitió la entrada de la firma de private equity Darby Overseas Investments en su accionariado. Con esta inyección de capital, la empresa pretende financiar su expansión internacional. |
