Synopsis

Abertis (BME: ABE), a Spain-based infrastructure company, plans to launch operations in Mexico, where is currently studying the acquisition of the Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO), reported Europa Press on 26 October 2016, citing Abertis CEO Francisco Reynés.

Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO) is one of the most important concession holder of motorways of the country and, in case of acquiring RCO, Abertis would launch operations in the Mexican market of concessions and also become competitor of OHL in Mexico, subsidiary of OHL (BME:OHL), a Spain-based construction group.

The eventual acquisition of this firm is one of the projects which Abertis has currently in Studio, along with the British motorway M6 (see related Intel).

Abertis (BME:ABE), empresa de infraestructura con sede en España, planea desembarcar en México, donde actualmente estudia la compra de la Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO), según ha informado Europa Press el 26 de octubre de 2016, citando al CEO de Abertis, Francisco Reynés.

En concreto, la Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO) es una de las concesionarias de autopistas más importantes del país y, en caso de adquirir RCO, Abertis lograría entrar en el mercado mexicano de concesiones y además se convertiría en competidor de OHL en México, filial de OHL (BME:OHL), grupo español de construcción.

La eventual adquisición de esta firma es uno de los proyectos que Abertis tiene actualmente en estudio, junto con la autopista británica M6 (ver Intel relacionado).
