Telefónica (BME: TFE), empresa de telecomunicaciones española, podría vender Telefé, canal de televisión argentino, por aproximadamente EUR 400m en el cuarto trimestre de 2016, según ha informado El Economista el 19 de septiembre de 2016, basándose en fuentes consultadas por el propio medio. Algunas de las compañías que estarían interesadas en su adquisición son las estadounidenses Time Warrner (NYSE: TWX) y Viacom (NYSE:VIA), y la venezolana Cisneros Group (ver Intel relacionada).
