Alrededor de 10 empresas extranjeras medianas del sector petrolero buscan con sus similares mexicanas acuerdos de negocios que permitan importar, distribuir y comercializar petrolíferos en el mercado mexicano, según ha informado El Economista el 5 de abril de 2016.

Las empresas que han hecho contacto con compañías mexicanas son Shell (LSE: RDSA, RDSB), ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) y BP (LSE: BP, NYSE: BP) en el segmento de grandes empresas, así como Valero Energy (LSE: BP, NYSE: BP), Puma; Chevron-Texaco, Lukoil (RTS: LKOH LSE: LKOD NASDAQ: LUKOY), Conoco Phillips (NYSE:COP) y Glencore (LON:GLEN), y se espera que estos acuerdos se logren a finales de 2016 y principios del 2017.

En estos acuerdos, Pemex también ha estado involucrada, ya que se ha manifestado que hay fondos internacionales interesados en compra de infraestructuras de la petrolera mexicana.

Approximately 10 medium-sized foreign oil companies seek agreements with Mexican oil companies aiming to import, distribute and commercialize oil in the Mexican market, as reported by newspaper El Economista on April 5, 2016.

Companies that have contacted Mexican companies are Shell (LSE: RDSA, RDSB), ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) y BP (LSE: BP, NYSE: BP) large companies such as Valero Energy (LSE: BP, NYSE: BP), Puma; Chevron-Texaco, Lukoil (RTS: LKOH LSE: LKOD NASDAQ: LUKOY), Conoco Phillips (NYSE:COP) and Glencore (LON:GLEN), and these agreements should materialize between the end of 2016 and early 2017.

These agreements involve Pemex, as it was announced that there are international funds interested in acquiring Mexico's oil infrastructure.
