La empresa española Bodegas Luzón ha firmado un acuerdo comercial de exclusividad con la multinacional china COFCO Food Sales & Distribution, Corporación Nacional de Aceites, Comestibles y Cereales, con el fin de distribuir sus vinos en el país asiático.

Es el primer acuerdo de este tipo que logra firmar una empresa española con China. Se trata de un acuerdo marco por diez años, en los que los tres primeros serán principalmente de posicionamiento de la marca.

Los vinos de Bodegas Luzón serán los únicos de la D.O. Jumilla que comercializará COFCO. Su presidente, José Fuertes, sigue los pasos de la bodega australiana McGuigan, cuyo dueño ha sido nombrado el mejor enólogo del mundo tres veces por la International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).

Spain-based Bodegas Luzón signed an exclusivity commercial agreement with Chinese multinational COFCO Food Sales & Distribution, China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Corporation, to distribute wine in the country.

The first agreement of this type between a Spanish company with China. It is a ten-year agreement, and the the first three are mainly for brand positioning.

Bodegas Luzon's wine will be the only with Denomination of Origin Jumilla that COFCO will distribute. The company's president José Fuertes, follows Australian winery McGuigan's footsteps, whose owner was named the best winemaker in the world, three times, by the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).
