ACS wins tender to build combined cycle power plant in Mexico

ACS (BME:ACS), empresa constructora con sede en Madrid, ha ganado la concesión de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) para construir la central de ciclo combinado Valle de México II, ha publicado la CFE en un comunicado de prensa el 19 de mayo de 2015. La propuesta ganadora fue presentada por un consorcio compuesto por Grupo Cobra, Avanzia Instalaciones e INITEC Energía, filiales de ACS. El proyecto costará alrededor de EUR 380m y estará ubicado en Acolman, estado de México. Comprende la ingeniería, el suministro de equipos, materiales, repuestos y herramientas especiales, las pruebas de desempeño y la puesta en operación de la central. La instalación entraría en funcionamiento en 2017, según lo publicado.

ACS (BME:ACS), a Madrid-based construction company, has won a Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) tender to build the Valle de México II combined cycle power plant, reported the CFE in a press release on 19 May, 2015. The winning bid was presented by a consortium comprised of ACS subsidiaries Grupo Cobra, Avanzia Instalaciones and INITEC Energía. Worth around EUR 380m, the project will be located in Acolman, Mexico state. It covers engineering, supply of equipment, materials, spare parts and special tools, as well as performance tests and launch of the plant. The plant is expected to begin operations in 2017, the release noted. |
