The minister of development of Spain, Ana Pastor, made an official visit to Panama, where it met with the president of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, and with Panamanian and Spanish businesspeople, to study investment opportunities, reported Panamá América on 23 May, 2016. Specifically, the meeting revolved around the cooperation of Ineco, a Spain-based transport engineering company, as well as on the continuation of the solid waste management project the company is carrying out in Panama. Pastor also met with the minister of Canal affairs and executive president of the Metro de Panamá, Roberto Roy, with whom she discussed the expansion works in the Panama Canal, carried ou by consortium Grupo Unidos por el Canal (GUPC), led by Spain-based Sacyr (BME:SCYR), which is preparing to deliver the project on 30 May.

La ministra española de Fomento en funciones, Ana Pastor, ha realizado una visita oficial a Panamá en la que se ha reunido con el presidente de Panamá, Juan Carlos Varela y con empresarios panameños y españoles con el fin de analizar oportunidades de inversión, según ha informado Panamá América el 23 de mayo de 2016. En concreto, la reunión ha estado basada en la cooperación que brinda Ineco, empresa española de ingeniería para el transporte, así como de la continuidad del proyecto de manejo de desechos sólidos que elabora la firma española en Panamá. Pastor también ha dialogado con el ministro de asuntos del Canal y presidente ejecutivo del Metro de Panamá, Roberto Roy, con el que ha hablado de las obras de ampliación del Canal de Panamá, en el cual ha participado el consorcio Grupo Unidos por el Canal (GUPC), liderado por Sacyr (BME: SCYR), que prepara la entrega de la obra el 30 de mayo de 2016. |
