Peru and China to sign MoU over e-commerce in November

The governments of Peru and China will seek to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote e-commerce and, with it, help in the development of Peru-based SMEs, reported Gestión on 24 August 2016, citing ComexPerú CEO Jessica Luna. Specifically, Luna noted the MoU will aim to strengthen e-commerce in Peru. It is expected to be signed on 21 November, following the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum, to be held on 19 and 20 November in Peru. The executive added China will provide knowledge and technology.

Los gobiernos de Perú y China buscarán firmar un memorándum de entendimiento para promover el comercio electrónico y así, ayudar en el desarrollo de PYMEs peruanas, ha publicado Gesitón el 25 de agosto de 2016, citando a la gerente general de ComexPerú, Jessica Luna. En concreto, Luna ha señalado que el memorándum tendrá como objetivo fortalecer el comercio electrónico en Perú. Se espera que sea firmado el 21 de noviembre, tras el Foro de Cooperación Económica Asia-Pacífico (APEC), que se llevará a cabo el 19 y 20 de noviembre en Perú. La ejecutiva ha agregado que China aportará conocimiento y tecnología. |
